The TSB Series blood bank refrigerators offer safe and compliant storage of blood products. They combine precise temperature control with comprehensive safety features. Thanks to quiet and energy-efficient operation they are suitable for clinical environments. Developed for professional use.
The Thermo Scientific TSB Series blood bank refrigerators are specially developed for the storage of whole blood and blood components at controlled temperatures. The refrigerators fully comply with the European Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, class IIa. This makes them suitable for use in blood banks, hospitals and transfusion laboratories.
All TSB models are equipped with a digital touchscreen and onboard data logging for continuous recording of temperature and alarms. A ballasted temperature sensor simulates the product temperature of blood bags. Electronic door lock with password, door alarms and a power failure alarm with battery back-up support safe storage.
The TSB Series uses F-gas compliant hydrocarbon refrigerants with low environmental impact. Thanks to the robust 75 mm insulation and efficient cooling technology, energy consumption remains low. The refrigerators operate whisper-quietly with a noise level below 50 dB(A) and generate minimal heat output to the room.
