The Thermo Scientific Solaris Orbital Shakers are designed for reliable and reproducible shaking in research, GLP, and GMP laboratories. The heavy-duty, tri-balanced drive ensures consistent orbital motion and minimal vibration transmission to the bench. All models are available with a wide range of platforms and accessories for maximum flexibility.

Open, Incubated, and Refrigerated Versions

The Solaris series is available as an open bench-top shaker (OS), an incubated model with heating (IS), and a refrigerated model with Peltier cooling (RS). The incubated and refrigerated versions enable temperature-controlled shaking from 4 °C to 60 °C, depending on the model. The energy-efficient Peltier cooling system in RS models operates without compressors.

Intuitive Control and Protocol Management

All Solaris models feature a colour touchscreen with protocol storage and sharing capabilities. Up to 100 programmes can be stored and transferred via USB. The display shows speed, time, and temperature simultaneously. Safety features include automatic shutdown on lid opening and overtemperature protection.
