The Thermo Scientific S Series centrifuges are developed for laboratories that need consistent performance and simple operation. This series is focused on routine applications in clinical diagnostics, bioscience research and industrial laboratories. The S Series combines robust technology with a clear user interface.

Simple operation with proven performance

The S Series is equipped with a high-contrast LCD display and direct function keys. Up to six programmes can be stored for repeatable protocols. The centrifuges support both swing-out and fixed-angle rotors and achieve, depending on the rotor, a maximum relative centrifugal force up to 25,830 × g. Speed setting is in steps of 50 rpm or 50 × g.

Designed for safety and durability

All models feature SMARTSpin imbalance detection, crash-resistant construction and finger protection when closing the lid. Refrigerated models use GreenCool Technology with a natural refrigerant and low energy consumption. The S Series is available as an IVD-MD version or General Use Only, depending on the application.
