The MicroCL 17 and 21 are compact microcentrifuges for microvolume applications. They support diverse rotors and sample formats. Operation is simple and safe. Suitable for routine and research laboratories.
The Thermo Scientific MicroCL 17 and MicroCL 21 microcentrifuges are designed for reliable separation of microvolumes in clinical, academic and industrial laboratories. Thanks to the compact design, these centrifuges fit easily on any workbench. The MicroCL 17 is suitable for routine applications, while the MicroCL 21 supports higher speeds for demanding research protocols.
The MicroCL series supports seven different rotors for diverse sample formats. Standardly, 24 microtubes of 1.5 or 2.0 mL can be processed in one run with even g-force loading. The unique dual-row rotor enables simultaneous centrifugation of 1.5/2.0 mL and 0.5 mL tubes without adapters. Optional rotors support PCR strips, haematocrit capillaries and tubes up to 5 mL.
The microcentrifuges are equipped with a clear, easily readable display and intuitive controls. Rapid acceleration and deceleration reduce process time, while ClickSeal biocontainment lids provide certified aerosol protection. Refrigerated versions cool from room temperature to set temperature in approximately 9 minutes. The low noise level supports comfortable daily use.
