Compact incubator for personal and small-scale applications

The Thermo Scientific Heratherm Compact incubator IMC18 is designed for laboratories with limited space and small sample quantities. With a chamber volume of approximately 18 litres, this incubator is ideal for personal use and applications where shared equipment is undesirable. The compact design allows placement on virtually any workbench.

Wide temperature range and precise control

The IMC18 has a temperature range of 17 °C to 50 °C, enabling incubation both above and slightly below ambient temperature. Temperature stability is ±0.2 °C at 37 °C. A simple calibration routine supports reliable and reproducible results in microbiological applications.

Energy-efficient Peltier technology and ease of use

Thanks to efficient Peltier technology, energy consumption is very low, approximately 14 W at 37 °C. The incubator features internal lighting for easy sample inspection and a mechanical convection system for even temperature distribution. This makes the IMC18 suitable for routine use, including in mobile or temporary setups.
