The Thermo Scientific Digital Dry Bath / Block Heater is developed for consistent and reproducible heating of samples. The system is used for sample incubation, enzyme digestion, restriction digestion, PCR preparation, and other heating protocols. The dry bath format eliminates the risk of contamination associated with water baths.
The modular design accommodates 1, 2, or 4 interchangeable aluminium blocks simultaneously. A wide range of blocks is available for tubes from 0.2 mL to 50 mL, microplates, and other formats. Blocks are changed quickly without tools.
Precise PID temperature control maintains set temperatures with high accuracy and stability. An integrated timer supports timed incubations. Safety features include over-temperature alarm and automatic shutdown.
