The Thermo Scientific CO₂ Resistant Orbital Shaker is specifically designed for continuous use inside CO₂ incubators and high-humidity environments. The shaker operates reliably under CO₂ atmospheres and elevated relative humidity without corrosion or performance loss. This makes it ideal for suspension cell culture, microplate assays, and other incubator-based applications.
The brushless magnetic drive operates without direct electrical connections inside the incubator chamber, eliminating maintenance and the risk of arcing. Speed and timer settings are adjusted via an external control box with LED display, so the incubator door never needs to be opened during operation. This preserves the stable environment inside the incubator.
The 19 mm orbit version is suitable for standard shaking flasks and larger culture vessels. The 3 mm orbit version is designed for microplate applications requiring gentle, high-frequency agitation. Both versions support a wide range of platform accessories.
