The Thermo Scientific Precision Coliform Water Baths are specifically developed for fecal coliform determinations in water and food research. These water baths meet the requirements for microbiological incubations where fixed and reproducible temperatures are critical. Control is factory-set to the most commonly used coliform temperatures.

Pre-Set Temperatures and High Uniformity

The Precision Coliform Water Baths feature fixed temperature presets of 35.0 °C, 41.5 °C, 44.5 °C, and 45.5 °C. Switching between these settings is done with a single button press. Thanks to perimeter-directed water circulation, a temperature uniformity of up to ±0.05 °C is achieved, which is essential for reliable test results.

Robust Construction and Safe Operation

The baths feature a seamless stainless steel inner chamber with a coil-free design for easy cleaning. The hinged stainless steel gable cover provides space for tall laboratory glassware. Safety features such as low-fluid detection, over-temperature protection, and an audible alarm support safe daily use.
