The Thermo Scientific Medifuge is a compact benchtop centrifuge for routine clinical and life science applications. The system is designed for daily use in clinical chemistry, haematology and serum preparation. Thanks to the small footprint, the Medifuge fits easily on any workbench without sacrificing functionality.
The Medifuge is equipped with the Thermo Scientific DualSpin rotor. This 2-in-1 rotor combines fixed-angle and swing-out buckets in one design. This allows different tube types and volumes to be centrifuged without rotor changes. The rotor supports tubes from 1.4 mL to 15 mL and enables simultaneous use of fixed-angle and swing-out configurations.
The centrifuge features a clear LED display and a quick one-click lid closure. Four programmable memory positions allow fixed protocols to be started quickly. Three adjustable deceleration profiles, including a brake-off option, support optimal separation. The Medifuge operates quietly and complies with current clinical and safety standards.
