The Thermo Scientific Midi 40 is a small-capacity CO₂ incubator designed for laboratories with limited space or low-throughput applications. With an internal volume of 40 litres, this incubator provides controlled cell culture conditions in a compact benchtop format. The Midi 40 is suitable for individual users and helps minimise contamination risks by avoiding shared use.

Precise control in a space-saving design

The incubator is equipped with a direct heating system featuring radiant heating along all walls. This ensures an even temperature distribution and stable conditions. Temperature and CO₂ concentration are controlled via the IntrLogic II microprocessor with a clear digital display and simple key operation.

Reliable CO₂ control and easy humidification

The CO₂ concentration is measured by a thermal conductivity sensor placed directly in the chamber. This guarantees rapid response and long-term stability. The removable water reservoir supports a relative humidity of up to 95 percent at 37 °C. A heated inner glass door prevents condensation and protects cultures during inspection.
