Explosion-Proof Storage for Sensitive and Flammable Substances

The Liebherr SRFfg Performance series is developed for the safe storage of explosion-sensitive and flammable substances. The models combine temperature stability with an explosion-proof interior. The ATEX classification is < Ex > II 3/- G Ex ec IIC T6 Gc/-. This makes the refrigerators suitable for use in laboratories and controlled environments.

The temperature range is adjustable from +3 °C to +16 °C. The factory temperature setting is +5 °C. The digital display is integrated in the door and readable with the door closed. Min and max values are continuously recorded and can be read up to 42 days later via the display.

The models comply with GMP Class A and ISO Class 4 according to EN 14644-1. The maximum relative humidity is 75 percent RH, non-condensing. The refrigerant is R600a and the compressor technology is a Single-Speed compressor.

Safety and Temperature Control

All SRFfg models feature a visual and acoustic temperature alarm. There is an equipment fault alarm and an acoustic door alarm. During power failure, a notification is displayed at the end of the power failure. Alarm limits are adjustable.

The integrated +2 °C SafetyDevice prevents stored products from freezing in case of fault. The maximum positive and negative temperature deviations are model-specifically defined. The recovery time after door opening is tested according to EN 60068-3.

Network integration via WLAN/LAN is optional. A potential-free contact is standard. There is a pass-through for an external temperature sensor.

Construction and Interior

The housing and door are made of white steel. The door is self-closing with an antimicrobial lever handle. Door hinging is on the right and reversible. The door seal is replaceable.

The interior is made of white plastic and easy to clean. Depending on the model, five or six glass shelves are present. Four or five shelves are height-adjustable. The load capacity is 40 kg per shelf.
