The Liebherr LKUexv 1610-25 is an explosion-proof laboratory refrigerator from the MediLine series. The model is suitable for storing flammable substances. The version complies with ATEX 114 guidelines. The ATEX classification is < Ex > II 3/- G Ex ec IIC T6 Gc/-.

The refrigerator offers a gross capacity of 141 litres and a net capacity of 130 litres. The temperature range is adjustable from +3 °C to +16 °C. The temperature is digitally displayed and adjustable to 0.1 °C accuracy. The unit operates with refrigerant R600a and has a current rating of 1.0 A.

The LKUexv 1610-25 is suitable for ambient temperatures from +10 °C to +35 °C and falls within climate class 7. The noise level is 47 dB(A). The refrigerator is not suitable for unheated spaces.

Safety and Monitoring

The interior is fully spark-free. This makes the refrigerator suitable for storage of flammable products in laboratories and research spaces. The defrost water is collected in a reservoir that is emptied manually.

The refrigerator features a visual and acoustic temperature alarm. There is a power failure alarm that is displayed at the end of the power failure. An acoustic door alarm is also present. Alarm limits are adjustable and alarm notifications are recorded.

The digital temperature display is located on the outside. Operation is via push-buttons. Network integration is optionally possible. The model features an RS 485 interface and a potential-free contact.

Construction and Interior

The housing and door are made of white steel. The model is undercounter-mountable, built-in-ready and can be placed against a wall. The door is self-closing with a lever handle. Door hinging is on the right and reversible.

The interior is made of white plastic according to the HardLine design. The refrigerator features four glass shelves, of which three are height-adjustable. The load capacity per shelf is 40 kg. The usable depth of a shelf is 420 mm.
