Laboratory Refrigerator for Medicine Storage According to DIN 13277

The Liebherr SRFvh Perfection series is developed for the safe storage of medicines and temperature-sensitive products. The refrigerators comply with DIN 13277 and are suitable for use in laboratories, pharmacies and cleanrooms. The temperature is adjustable from +3 °C to +16 °C. The factory setpoint is +5 °C.

The units feature a 2.2-inch colour display with touch and swipe operation. The display can also be operated with gloves and supports 12 languages. The control panel is integrated in the door. The temperature is digitally displayed on the outside.

When a temperature alarm occurs, SmartLock automatically locks the door. This prevents products with an interrupted cold chain from being re-dispensed. The integrated data logger records temperature profiles, alarm history and service information for 5 years. Data can be read via USB or via WLAN and LAN.

Safety, Monitoring and Cleanroom Suitability

The SRFvh models feature a visual and acoustic temperature alarm. There is an alarm upon power failure that is active immediately after voltage loss for up to 12 hours. A door alarm and an equipment fault alarm are also present. Alarm limits are adjustable and alarm notifications are recorded.

All versions are suitable for climate class 7. The permitted ambient temperature is between +10 °C and +35 °C. The maximum relative humidity is 75 percent, non-condensing. The cabinets comply with GMP Class A and ISO Class 4 according to EN 14644-1.

The dynamic cooling system with automatic defrost ensures uniform temperature distribution. The maximum positive and negative deviations from the setpoint are model-specifically defined. Each model features an integrated product sensor and a potential-free contact.

Construction and Interior

The housing is made of steel with white finish. Depending on the model, the door is made of steel or as an insulating glass door with plastic frame. The door is self-closing and right-hinged, but reversible. The handle has an antimicrobial coating.

The interior is made of white plastic and equipped with six shelves. Five shelves are height-adjustable. The load capacity is 45 kg per shelf for the 4000 series and 60 kg per shelf for the 5500 series. The LED light column is located on the left side of the cabinet.
