The Thermo Scientific Thermo series liquid nitrogen storage vessels are developed for the safe storage and transport of small quantities of LN2. These lightweight aluminium vessels are suitable for filling cryogenic storage systems and for applications requiring limited LN2 volumes. The compact design makes the vessels easy to handle in the laboratory.
Each Thermo storage vessel features vacuum insulation and a narrow neck opening. This design limits static evaporation and increases the efficiency of liquid nitrogen storage. The low evaporation rate supports stable LN2 availability during daily use and transport.
Depending on the model, the Thermo storage vessels can be equipped with optional accessories such as a self-pressurising withdrawal device, a 12 mL dip cup or a mobile base. This makes the vessels suitable for a wide range of applications in research, diagnostics and biobanking.
