The Thermo Scientific BioCane systems are manually filled LN2 dewars for cryogenic storage. The systems are designed for storage in canisters with canes. They are suitable for vials and straws in liquid nitrogen. The construction is made from durable aluminium with vacuum insulation.
The BioCane systems are available in four capacities. The LN2 content ranges from 20.5 to 73 litres. All models are supplied with stainless steel canisters. The narrow neck opening limits nitrogen evaporation during use.
The canister handles are colour-coded for identification. The lids are lockable for additional sample security. An optional low-level alarm is available. The systems are CE marked.
